New Thrill Park Planned for Orlando
Yesterday it was announced by the Orlando area news outlets that a new thrill park is apparently in the works for Orlando. The park, which would be built on 77.7 acres of undeveloped land on the North end of International Drive at 5001 Vanguard St next to the Festival Bay Mall, will feature as many as 15 rides with some rides needing FAA consultation due to some rides with planned heights of 425ft. The current intended name for the park is "Orlando Thrill Park." With neighborhoods nearby the developers understand that the addition of the park will increase traffic in the area and bring about more noise but also note that this will also bring about new jobs.
